Vancouver Island Learning Network ADST, Computational Thinking and Coding Session #7

That’s right! It’s time for another Vancouver Island Learning Network gathering!  ADST, Design Thinking, Computational Thinking, Coding…..and more. All in one great venue, making for an exciting event.  Whether you’ve been to previous events, or considering attending for the first time, you don’t want to miss this one.  Come for the learning, networking and fun-filled, jam-packed opportunities to share what you are doing in your school. 

Learning sessions will include 3D Printing, App Development, Micro:bits, Design challenges, creativity  and so much more.

Reminders

  1. If your district is covering your costs and you are approved to attend proceed to register.
  2. If  are from a Vancouver Island School District and will use your own Professional Development Funds, connect with your district’s VILN contact and let them know you are self funding and then proceed to register.
  3. If you are attending from a district not on Vancouver Island, send an email to gposey@sd79.bc.ca with the subject VILN. We will coordinate your invoicing and ask you to register.

 

Costs

Food $90 paid at hotel by individual or district

Hotel Room $130-150 approximately – paid at hotel by individual or district

Parking $10 paid at hotel by individual or district

Session Registration to cover Breakout Room and AV $25 billed from Cowichan Valley School District to individual or district

Total participant cost estimate $250 plus taxes (sharing of rooms where possible will reduce overall costs)
