ALL DAY SESSION Guided Phonics and Beyond Curriculum

Join Lisa Hermant and Amy Loudon as they present an overview of Tara West's (Little Minds at Work) Guided Phonics and Beyond Curriculum. The curriculum can be used to support K-3 whole class phonemic awareness, reading and writing, small group work or interventions. It can also be used with older students who present with a skill deficit in any grade. This engaging six-unit program includes 25 lessons per unit, a Sound Wall, a decodable reader for every lesson, pre and post unit assessments and many options for use in your classroom. This program was used at Khowhemun Elementary in two Kindergarten and one K/1 class as well as with intervention groups of all grades. We are thrilled with the results for our readers! (Note: SD79 Teachers (with a 2022/2023 contract will receive a licence and program materials. Information on ordering and access will be provided. All participants need to bring a device to the session).
